Having pampered myself at high-end spas in Chicago, New York, LA and London, I was a bit skeptical (read snobbish) about Tempat Senang.  My preconceptions couldn’t have been more wrong.  From amenities to service to food, this beautiful spa/resort not only rivals its big city cousins but in many ways surpasses them, all for about 1/3 the price.  Take it from this spa maven: whether this is your first or 50th experience, Tempat Senang won’t disappoint. To begin with, there’s the killer ambience.  Like all spas, the treatment rooms are very private but the windowless cubbyhole I expected had morphed into a large naturally-lit, airy room surrounded by tropical trees.  The sounds of birds and waterfalls wafting in from outside only added to the nature-like atmosphere.   If the setting isn’t enough to get the relax-o-meter going, the range of treatment options will do the trick.  The spa offers 10 different kinds of messages (I chose the Balinese) and a variety of face and body treatments, all of which use natural ingredients and are made on the premises (there are also pedicures and manicures available).    The coconut body scrub is a particular standout.  Not only was the smell heavenly, but my skin never felt so soft.  And spa veterans who, like, me, endure having their blackheads pinched in between two pieces of tissue will be pleasantly surprised to find the aesthetician using a small vacuum-like device to painlessly remove them, something I’ve never seen at other spas I’ve visited Both ½ and full day packages include lunch at the lovely outdoor restaurant, which offers a nice mix of Western and Asian-influenced fare.  I highly recommend the stuffed calamari.     From start to finish, Tempat Senang was an amazing spar experience that won’t ever be found in SoHo or Sloan Square.

3 friends and myself decided we deserve a spa day. So we chanced on www.batamspa.net at Tempat Senang Resort in Sekupang Batam. I consider myself to be somewhat a "spa junkie" but I must say their menu was so interesting that even I experienced new things!!! Such as Bamboo stick massage and hot herbal compresses. THey have a variety of packages to choose from I tried number3. Heavenly!! Just what our stressed out bodies needed.For the quaity of spa treatment you would expect to pay much more so I was surprised to get 6 hours of treatment including lunch for $200!!!In Singapore we pay that much for just a facial. Next Time I go I will spend 1 or 2 nights and really chill. The place looks fabulos on the photos even better in reality!!!Love the place, can't wait to go again!

A friend & I were in Batam for a few days and feeling a little down about being there, then we visited here and what a 'slice of heaven'.It's beautiful, peaceful and the host's are the best. Fantastic, friendly and fun people who make you feel right at home.A must place to visit again and stay for some time.Love the place

My partner and I were looking for a short getaway cum spa deal, and I came across Tempat Senang. Immediately attracted to the spa package, and the pictures of the rooms really captured my attention.Once we were at the villa, it was a breathtaking view. If you are looking for privacy and away from the hustle and bustle of city life, i highly recommend Tempat Senang! It is secluded and the suites available are limited, so the place is not crowded with too many guests. Which is just perfect for us. From the lush greeneries, tranquiled surroundings to the pampering 3 hours' spa treatment and the individually designed suites, it was worth it!My partner and I totally enjoyed our stay there tho it was very short.The kind, generous Jasmine & Hook, not forgetting the warm hospitality of the staff, made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They did their best to accomodate to our needs.We would definitely come back again! Next time most likely extending our stay to 3 days 2 nights at the very least.

Tempat senang is the perfect lil getaway from the buzz of the city. My boyfriend and i had an excellent time, and would most definitely come back again!

I have just spent 3 of the most relaxing hours in a place that until recently i thought could never exist in an island like Batam.The house itself is a feast for the senses and anyone who likes things Bali will find the environment a perfect Bali getaway without the tedium of the plane journey. The service was attentive without being intrusive . The massage left me feeling that i had discovered i secret that i was reluctant at first to share with others.Its a real oasis and the perfect antidote to living and working in the frenetic atmosphere of Singapore. I highly recommend it.

I will Never find place spa like this in batam Island before. Very Nice and relax place...in batam batam.
